Michael earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University-Houston in 2017. He is a native of Lafayette, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Human Movement from Louisiana State University. Since graduating from physical therapy school, he furthered his education by obtaining his Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) and is a certified clinical specialist in orthopedics (OCS). He has also achieved certification in dry needling.
Being raised in a family of healthcare providers, Michael knew he wanted to work in a profession that made a difference in people's lives. He first became interested in physical therapy after sustaining a severe ankle injury in junior high while playing basketball. It quickly became evident to him that good physical therapy can help provide a faster return to normal activities. He enjoys spending one-on-one time with his patients, being able to provide hands-on intervention, and having a positive impact on their lives. This drives him to continue to develop into the best possible physical therapist he can be. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, going to sporting events, and spending time at his family's camp in False River.
